CO-WORKING SPACE IN BALI

For the digital nomads in Bali, co-working spaces are aplenty. You got the popular Dojo (Jl. Pantai Batu Mejan) with all the tech and equipment you need to work but without the stiff office environment. In its place are pools, bean bags to lounge by the pool, tropical treat Nalu Bowls nearby, laid-back courses and workshops to advance your digital lives, and of course, the beach is a walking distance away. You can practically smell it. Other favorites include Tropical Nomad (Jl. Subak Canggu) with a bigger space and a garden to work and play; the charming Outpost (Jl. Raya Semat) with co-living options, also available in Ubud; the ridiculously spacious B Work (Jl. Nelayan) with three floors that accommodates a coffee shop, an open-air yoga shala, a podcast room, a rooftop garden, and so much more. You’re definitely spoiled for choices.

A relatively new co-worker on the block is the locally owned Horeka Bistro Bali, though it’s not exclusively a co-working space as the façade is more like a café. The namesake is an acronym for Hotel, Restaurant, and Café, and the staff is indeed populated by people from said industry who were laid off or had to take unpaid leave due to the pandemic. Thus Horeka was created so they will be able to survive in these trying time.

Horeka Bistro Bali serves alfresco dining venue with a garnish of sweet high-speed internet. The food leans on Indonesian comfort food and a bit of Western dishes; and as for the co-working space, they offer a silver, gold, and platinum package with affordable price starting from IDR 1 million.
