FAVOURITE LIFT OR MOVEMENT?
I’d say one of my personal favorites is overhead squat.
WHO OR WHAT INSPIRES YOU?
People that aren’t afraid to try again, even if they didn’t succeed the first time!
WHAT HAVE YOUR LEARNT ABOUT YOURSELF IN BALI?
I think Bali has helped me not to worry about every little thing in life. I’ve spent most of my working days planning every day, month, year into the smallest detail. Something that was also reflected into my everyday life. Now I finally feel comfortable not having everything planned out in my life.
ANY TIPS FOR ENJOYING BALI?
My personal favorite is an early bike ride (yes, that old school thing you have to pedal by yourself) up to Jatiluwih. Amazing to enjoy the sunrise on your way up and then be rewarded with endless rice field views at the top! If you’re not a fan of cycling, I suggest that you take your scooter instead.
FAVOURITE THING ABOUT BALI?
The weather, haha! Typical scandinavian answer!
HOW DID YOU END UP IN BALI?
After working over 17 years non-stop at the same company, I figured that it was time for a (very long) break. Bali might be the best place in the world to spend some time off.
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN AT WANDERLUST?
I’ve been training at Wanderlust for about 2 years now.
WHAT WOULD YOU SAY TO THOSE WANTING TO START THEIR CROSSFIT JOURNEY?
That there is absolutely nothing to be worried about! I remember I was pretty worried about some of the movements before I started, but your coach will help you find scaling options for each movement so that you can practice and learn. My only regret is that I didn’t start crossfit earlier!
