WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE BENCHMARK WORKOUT AND WHY? WHAT TIPS WOULD YOU GIVE TO SOMEONE DOING THIS WORKOUT?
GRACE: 30 Clean and Jerks for time (135/95lbs) If you’ve got the strength, hold onto that barbell for as long as you can Close your eyes and enjoy the pain. If you’re not quite there yet, go for small sets with as little rest as possible in between sets. Use those legs to drive the barbell up and try to control your breathing!
WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE MOVEMENT AND WHY? AND WHAT TIPS WOULD YOU GIVE TO SOMEONE DOING THIS?
Probably Toes-To-Bar, mainly because they don’t really get you out of breath so there’s less pain! Use as much momentum as possible to save your core and try to relax your body as much as possible. Let physics do the work for you! Keep your legs as long and straight as possible if you’re going for big sets. Crunch and actively kick your legs up to go faster during smaller sets.
